Working with SLAACK Productions, Creator fabricated a range of custom elements for the Pleasing Selfridges installation, including walnut-veneered furniture, handcrafted brass clothing rails, gold leaf detailing and convincing faux-tile finishes. The build combined rich materials and traditional scenic techniques with Pleasing’s distinctive visual language.

Creator also designed and built a one of a kind kinetic window displays featuring fairground-style lighting, polished brass laminate bases and precision-engineered internal mechanisms. Hidden steel structures, circuit boards and electromagnets powered each display to rock at regular intervals, echoing the movement of the sculptural perfume bottles.

The result was an immersive retail environment combining scenic fabrication, bespoke furniture and creative engineering within Selfridges’ iconic Oxford Street store.
