London Design Biennale 2025
Somerset House, London
The London Design Biennale 2025 returned to Somerset House in June for its 5th edition, bringing together world-leading design, innovation, creativity, and research from across the globe.
This year’s theme, “Surface Reflections,” curated by Artistic Director Dr. Samuel Ross MBE, invited visitors to explore how ideas are shaped by internal experiences and external influences. Across the Biennale, guests were immersed in thought-provoking installations addressing identity, tradition, legacy, environment, and emotion.
As a preferred supplier of Somerset House, Creator was proud to be entrusted with the design support, production, and installation of multiple national and artist-led pavilions. We worked closely with IGP, Malta, Nigeria, Peru, and renowned artist Rachel Bitsman to bring their unique concepts to life at Somerset House.
Two of the pavilions supported by Creator achieved top recognition at this year’s Biennale:
Malta – “URNA”: Awarded the prestigious London Design Biennale 2025 Medal for the most outstanding overall contribution.
Peru – “Hæirloom Ollantaytambo’s (post) modern weavers”: Winner of the London Design Biennale Public Medal, voted by thousands of visitors as their favourite pavilion.
Our collaborative approach and attention to detail ensured that each pavilion installation met the highest standards of quality and creativity. This project reaffirms Creator’s expertise in delivering complex cultural and design events on an international stage.
