Oxford Street, London
For our biggest collaboration with Pleasing to date, we transformed The Corner Shop at Selfridges, Oxford Street into a full-scale art nouveau-inspired theatrical installation—built to launch Harry Styles’ new fragrance collection in true Pleasing fashion.
Brought in by our friends at Savage Innovations, we handled all aspects of set design and event fabrication. That included custom walnut-veneered furniture, handcrafted brass clothing rails, gold leaf detailing, and faux tiles so convincing they had even the pros at B&Q fooled.
We also designed and built bespoke kinetic window displays—complete with fairground-style lighting, polished brass laminate bases, and precision-engineered internal mechanics. A hidden system of steel structures, circuit boards, and electromagnets powered each display to rock every two minutes, mimicking the motion of the sculptural perfume bottles.
The result? A bold, immersive retail installation with all the signature flair of Pleasing—combining high-end set design, experiential fabrication, and creative engineering in one of London’s most iconic retail spaces.
